Student Style Steal

I caught up with Chloe Burrell (20) who is a third year Multimedia Journalism student here at GCU to discuss all things fashion. As an avid lover of all things stylish – Chloe was happy to answer a few questions about her personal style!

Q1. How would you describe your style in three words?

Bold, quirky and original.

Q2. What are your favourite items of clothing and why?

I’m a sucker for flared patterned trousers! Honestly my trouser collection is huge, it takes up half my wardrobe! I like them because they’re something that people associate with me, I feel good when I wear them and they’re just my staple item of clothing.

Q3. What is one accessory you can’t live without?

I have these mustard tassel earrings that I love! They go with everything and just look so nice!

Q4. In terms of style inspiration, who’s style do you admire?

There isn’t one specific person, I just love a lot of different brands that do a lot of sustainable clothing, Monki being one of them. They sell a lot of patterned clothes and clothes that are right up my street and the best part? All sustainable material!

Q5. What does fashion mean to you?

Fashion is really important to me. It’s part of who I am and what makes me me, it’s such an important part of today’s culture and showcasing individuality. It’s just something that is part of my daily life and I love finding new kinds of clothes to wear and pair together.
