Adults Only Night at Glasgow Science Centre

Glasgow Science Centre was always a go to for school trips, wasn’t it? The blackened lungs damaged from smoking, seeing the constellations at the planetarium, holding cockroaches and everything in between. Sadly, now we’re older “uni trips” aren’t really as much of a thing – student leaders, make that happen please – but that doesn’t mean we get to miss out on all the fun.

Beginning this Friday 7 April, the Science Centre are launching an adults only evening.

On the first Friday of every month until September, Science Lates will allow over 18s to enjoy the exhibits, live demonstrations, talks and shows as well as food and drink.

The events will all be themed, so one week you could be exploring the human body, and the next week exploring the furthest corners of the galaxy.

From hamster wheels to setting your hands on fire, all the usual exhibitions will be open, so you’ll get to relive your childhood with the added bonus of colour changing cocktails.

If you’re thinking “where do I sign up for this?!” you’re in luck – we’ve got a discount available for you!

Readers can get their hands on a ticket for this Friday’s event for only £8.50, and with similar events at the Science Centre selling out, you’ll want to get in there faster than a speeding neutrino.

Tickets can be bought (with discount) here!

More information on the events can also be found here.
