A quick round-up of the shows to see

Here are my Scottish based Fringe recommendations. Go and see these shows but also go see something new and random by exploring the world’s largest arts festival and see performers and shows you’d never normally try! So with that sentiment of exploration, here is the list of “must see” shows with purely Scottish comedy content at the Fringe…

STAND UP COMEDY

Tom Stade – My favourite comedian bar none. Absolutely excellent stand up from the Edinburgh based Canadian, who buckles me every time I see him. If you see one show this Fringe make it this. https://tickets.edfringe.com/whats-on/tom-stade-you-ain-t-seen-nothing-yet

Jojo Sutherland – Jojo is one of Scotland’s top established comedians and delivers a 5* rated show. https://tickets.edfringe.com/whats-on/jojo-sutherland-riches-to-rags

Stephen Buchanan – Caley’s own Comedy Royalty. BBC Comedy Award winner and Scottish Comedian of the year 2018, Stephen not only graduated from Caley but also is one of Scotland’s top comics. https://tickets.edfringe.com/whats-on/stephen-buchanan-baby-dove

Chrissy Ross – Me, I’m alright, been described as “no bad”. 4th Year events student and attention seeker – https://tickets.edfringe.com/whats-on/hesitation-remarks

Susan Riddell – An amazing comedian, for my money the best writer in Scottish Comedy and a brilliant stand up. Tipped for big things – https://tickets.edfringe.com/whats-on/susan-riddell-duvet-day

Liam Farrelly & Jordan Wistuba – Liam is one of Scotland’s best new comedians and Jordan is doing a show with him, this hour showcases two of Scotland’s top new comics – https://tickets.edfringe.com/whats-on/jordan-wistuba-and-liam-farrelly-the-student-and-the-shoplifter
